1 Acceptance of Terms & Strict Eligibility Criteria
By registering, downloading, or using Soulmate Matrimony™ ("Platform", "Mobile App", or "Service"), you enter into a legally binding contract with Soulmate Matrimony. If you do not accept all conditions of this End User License Agreement (EULA), you must immediately cease using the Service and delete the application.
Mandatory Legal Age & Purpose Requirements:
- Age Requirement: You must be of legal marriageable age under the laws of India or your country of citizenship (strictly 18 years or older for females and 21 years or older for males in India). Minors are strictly prohibited.
- Sole Matrimonial Intent: This platform is designed solely to facilitate lawful matrimonial alliances between prospective brides, grooms, and their families. It is NOT a casual dating, hookup, friendship, or adult escort service. Any profile created for non-matrimonial purposes will be terminated immediately.
- Marital Status: You must be either legally single, widowed, or legally divorced with an official court decree. Individuals currently in a subsisting marriage are strictly barred.
Because Soulmate Matrimony allows users to publish candidate profiles, photographs, and communicate via in-app messages and video/audio calls, you expressly agree that:
Strictly Prohibited Content & Behavior (Zero Tolerance):
- Nudity, sexually suggestive or pornographic media, obscenity, or vulgarity.
- Hate speech, racism, casteist slurs, religious intolerance, or defamation.
- Harassment, stalking, threats, cyber-bullying, or unsolicited non-consensual contact.
- Impersonation, identity fraud, uploading another person's photos, or deceptive catfishing.
- Soliciting loans, money, investments, cryptocurrency, or gift cards under any pretext.
In-App Reporting Tool
Every profile and message contains an instant "Report Candidate" button. Our Trust & Safety team investigates all reports within 24 hours.
Instant User Blocking
You can unilaterally block any suitor with one click. Blocked users cannot view your profile, send interests, message, or initiate calls.
Penalty: Any user found in breach of this UGC policy will face immediate, permanent account termination, forfeiture of all subscription fees without refund, and potential referral to cybercrime authorities.
Absolute Prohibition of Dowry (Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961)
Soulmate Matrimony strictly condemns and forbids the giving, taking, demanding, or abetting of dowry in any shape or form:
- Any demand for money, property, gold, vehicles, or valuable security as consideration for marriage is a severe criminal offense punishable under the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 and Section 304B/498A of the Indian Penal Code.
- Users are strictly prohibited from stating, implying, or negotiating dowry expectations in their profile bio, chats, or audio/video conferences.
- We maintain a zero-tolerance policy. If any user demands dowry, use the "Report Profile" button immediately. Their profile will be permanently blacklisted and reported to police authorities.
2 Subscriptions, In-App Purchases & Billing Transparency
Soulmate Matrimony offers both free membership tiers and optional premium subscription upgrades (e.g., Premium Gold, Royal Diamond VIP):
- Apple StoreKit (iOS): When purchasing subscriptions on iOS devices, transactions are processed directly through Apple In-App Purchases. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon purchase confirmation.
- Google Play Billing (Android): When purchasing subscriptions on Android devices, transactions are processed via Google Play Billing.
- Web Payments (Razorpay & Cashfree): For purchases made on our website, payments are processed securely via RBI-authorized payment aggregators (Razorpay / Cashfree) with 128-bit SSL encryption.
- Auto-Renewal & Cancellation: Subscriptions purchased via Apple or Google automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current period via your Apple ID Settings or Google Play Subscriptions menu.
- Refund Policy: Payments made for matchmaking services are non-refundable once activated. For mobile in-app purchases, refund claims are governed by Apple's and Google's respective store refund policies.
3 Verification Disclaimer & Family Due Diligence
While Soulmate Matrimony validates mobile OTPs, conducts Government ID KYC verification, and utilizes automated trust algorithms, the Platform does not conduct physical home visits or character background investigations.
Users and their family guardians are strongly advised to independently verify candidates' professional, financial, marital, and criminal backgrounds before finalizing any wedding or matrimonial alliance.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal dispute or proceeding arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Gurugram, Haryana / New Delhi, India.
